Culturally specific education to schools and agencies (government and private)
AAC offers an expert and lived knowledge of the cultural differences that exist within the community. Our culturally specific education provides case managers from organisations, schools, agencies and community services knowledge about how to approach and manage their clients’ cultural characteristic, in particular African culture.
Alternative education pathways for youth at risk in high schools and job seekers
With qualified PhD teachers, case managers and tutors, AAC offers opportunities for learning the basics of primary and secondary education, including assistance in preparing resumes and gaining interview skills. AAC has successfully helped some of our clients to return to their education at high schools, university and TAFE.
Job readiness and pathways to employment for young people and their families
With connections to various employers, AAC has been able to assist clients and their families to obtain sustainable employment.
Within our programs and education sessions we invite speakers, such as professionals from police, legal and health services, to engage with the community and clients to provide first hand perspectives and stories that promote health, wellbeing, integration and Australian law.
Public speaking and lived experiences
AAC provides encourages volunteers, young Africa high achievers and successful clients to share their lived experiences through public speaking and YouTube presentations.
